Texas Historic Landmark
From the first members to today, for over 150 years, Masons have faithfully made the trip to the lodge for monthly meetings. This longstanding tradition is a cornerstone of our community, fostering connection and continuity, and it is a tradition we are committed to maintaining for future generations.
Our mission, likewise, remains the same. To provide an environment that helps good men become better for their families, communities, faiths, countries, and fraternity. This is achieved through the practice of the core tenets of Freemasonry: Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth. We aim to educate, promote, and practice a way of life that unites like-minded men in a worldwide brotherhood, transcending all cultural, social, and educational differences.
Masonic lodge officers play crucial roles in maintaining the order and function of the lodge, ensuring that its activities and traditions are upheld. At the head of the lodge is the Worshipful Master, who presides over meetings and ceremonies, providing leadership and guidance. Assisting him are the Senior Warden and Junior Warden, who help oversee the lodge’s activities and stand ready to step in if needed.
The Secretary manages administrative tasks, including record-keeping and correspondence, while the Treasurer is responsible for the lodge’s financial matters. The Senior Deacon and Junior Deacon assist in ceremonial roles and act as messengers within the lodge.
Other key officers include the Chaplain, who provides spiritual support, and the Tyler, who guards the lodge’s entrance. Each officer has a specific role, contributing to the smooth operation and ceremonial aspects of the lodge. Together, these officers work to uphold the values and traditions of Freemasonry, ensuring a supportive and structured environment for all members.
